Bent u geen freestyler, maar bezoeker? Ga dan naar de volgende pagina: Freestyle League
First of all thank you very much for your interest in The Hague Freestyle League! On Saturday 6 & Sunday 7th of May we are organizing the second edition of the Freestyle League for the freestyle football community! It is an open international tournament 2 vs 2 & crewbattles - We would love to welcome you in The Hague, The Netherlands.
We want to give you the stage to show your amazing skills and also give you the opportunity to develop as a freestyler. Besides that, it is all about having fun and sharing our passion with each other. We are doing our best to create the best experience for you!
The event is happening in a unique place, it is the official training facility of the Olympic Skateboard team of the Netherlands. The location looks amazing in our opinion and is so cool to organize a freestyle football tournament in it. We will change the skatepark into a freestyle football park. ;)
So Saturday 6th of May will be the day for the 2 vs 2 qualifcations and finals & Sunday 7th the qualifications & finals of the Crew battles. We will not use any time limits, just freestyle! As side competition we will have best trick!
Registration form is at the bottom of this page.
Event Location

Rules
In the Netherlands we use the critiera: Originality, Difficulty, Execution, Variety & Control.
The 2 vs 2 battle - We think it is great to share the battle floor with another freestyler and battle together as a crew. It will give another vibe and you can share that moment with your crewmate. The 2 vs 2 battles have three rounds with no time limit. The first 2 rounds will be a moment where each freestyler show his skills individually. The third and last round is the round where you both have a moment where you can shine together. Feel free how you want to fill in that round, but of course the judges will give you higher points if you combine tricks & movements with your crewmate. It does not need be a double routine, but try to find few ways to mix something together. Be creative and do your thing. They will look to an overall decision, they will not judge round by round. If there is draw, you will get an extra round where you both (you and your teammate) have to show your skills.
About the crewbattle, a crew has to have 4 freestylers. During the qualifications & Top 8 you will have 4 rounds no time limit. In the Top 4 and finals there will be 6 rounds no time limit. Your free to fill it in with your crew. You can do individual rounds, but of course you can also combine your tricks together and do (small) routines. Again, the judges will give you higher points if you combine tricks & movements with your crewmates. It does not need be a double routine, but try to find few ways to mix something together. Be creative and do your thing. They will look to an overall decision, they will not judge round by round. If there is draw, you will get an extra round where your crew have to show your skills one more time.
We will also do a female competition & a Next Gen competition. Still you will have the opportunity to compete with the men as well.
Best trick competition. We will create a big circle with all the participants. Your best trick could be one big move or a short but powerful combo (uppers, lowers, sitdowns, transitions). So be prepared and let’s entertain everybody.
Travel
The closest airport is Rotterdam. The only thing is that there are not a lot of flights. So most of the time Amsterdam is then the closest and best option. The airport in Eindhoven is also a possibility.
From the airport Schiphol Amsterdam, the best option is to take the train to Den Haag Centraal station. The train goes directly (no switches) to this station in 30 minutes.
From the Hague Central Station the location of the event is 10 minutes by bus, busline 22 to Rijswijk De Schilp, bus stop Calandplein. 2 minutes walk from there. Or you can take the tram, tramline 9 to Vrederust from the Central Station to Jacob Catsstraat. From there 8 minutes walk.
